Ten Topics in Rheumatology
Ten Topics Rheumatology Asia is delighted to announce its next meeting in Manila, Philippines, on 28-29 November 2009.
The meeting is aimed to enhance the concept of “Rumatologie San Frontieres” or “Rheumatology Without Borders”
Objectives of Ten Topics Rheumatology:
- To bring in the best and most authoritative speakers in the field of rheumatology and related specialties
- To focus on new advances, especially in lupus and the connective tissue diseases
- To create a stimulating mix of clinical and basic topics, and topics of popular interest

Lupus Advocacy Week
Presidential Proclamation 1435
The Lupus Community in the Philippines will celebrate the 1st Lupus Advocacy Week on February 2-8, 2008 as officially proclaimed and signed at the MalacaƱang by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Proclamation 1435 declares the first week of February every year as “Lupus Advocacy Week”.
On Saturday, 02 February, join hundreds of lupus advocates from across the country who will come together at the SM Mall of Asia for the grand launch of Lupus Advocacy Week, with Hon. Sec. of Health Francisco Duque III, MD as guest of honor. The programme, aptly called “Soaring butterflies by the bay” will feature the Philippine Montessori Center Instrumental Ensemble and various lupus talents.
